NAVIGATING PAIN, RESTORING LIFE

About Dr. Hsiao
Dr. Chris L. Hsiao is a dedicated and compassionate board-certified interventional pain management specialist and anesthesiologist who has committed his career to enhancing the lives of individuals dealing with chronic pain. With a profound understanding of the physical, emotional, and psychological aspects of pain, Dr. Hsiao has become a beacon of hope for countless patients seeking relief and restoration. Dr. Hsiao spent the majority of his childhood in the DFW area, where he graduated from Lake Highlands High School as the Salutatorian of his graduating class. He then completed his undergraduate studies at Baylor University where he earned his bachelor of arts in Biochemistry. Dr. Hsiao received his doctor of medicine degree at the prestigious University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas and completed his anesthesiology residency training at UT Southwestern as well. During residency Dr. Hsiao was elected by his peers and members of the faculty to serve as the Chief Resident. He also received the 2011 Outstanding Resident of the Year Award presented to him during the graduation ceremony. After residency training, Dr. Hsiao served the Dallas metroplex for 11 years as an anesthesiologist before realizing he desired to continue learning and adding interventional pain management to his skill set. He returned to the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas once again to achieve this dream. During his fellowship training Dr. Hsiao was taught the importance of approaching each patient with compassion and empathy. His ultimate goal is to improve his patients' pain severity, function, and quality of life using the most conservative/least invasive treatment modalities. In August 2023, Dr. Hsiao took a significant step in his career by joining Legacy Orthopedics & Sports Medicine in North Texas. Legacy Orthopedics & Sports Medicine's state-of-the-art facilities and patient-centric approach perfectly aligns with Dr. Hsiao's values and aspirations.
